DF Wiig AS's engineering team has extensive experience in maritime and subsea technology. Each team member has a comprehensive background in the design, development, and implementation of solutions for the offshore industry.

Swivels have been the core product of DF Wiig AS in recent years. Within the Engineering department, this includes design, FEM analysis, risk analysis, procedure development, prototype testing, qualification testing, and more. Our extensive knowledge of the process involved in getting equipment approved through DNV or ABS systems, according to regulations such as API 6A, API 16A, API 17D, and others, enables us to transfer this expertise to other relevant challenges.

In addition to swivels, DF Wiig AS has delivered products such as burner booms, BOP jump tools, BOP cranes, and ROV launch and recovery systems. Our engineering team also has broad experience in the offshore industry, particularly within the moonpool area.
